Mt. Clemens: Blessing Bucks

An individual on the steering committee noticed some of the dollar bills he had in his possession had a ‘B” on the front of the bill.  This is the District Seal for the Second Federal Reserve District of New York.   He began setting aside any “B” bucks he was given and donated them to Blessings in a Backpack.

When he shared what he was doing everyone in the room.   Each person pulled out their singles to see if they had any dollar bills with “B”s.  Many did so they donated those dollars to Blessings.  This practice of checking dollar bills has spread to many more people in the Mount Clemens community, and we continue to receive donations of the “B’ dollars which are now referred to as “Blessings Bucks”.
