Many of these smiling faces are ladies from the Sterling Heights Lioness Club. During the school year you can count of these ladies showing up every Tuesday morning at 10 am to pack backpacks.

They are well organized and manage in the time they are there to pack more than half of the total bags required each week.  They have been coming and doing this for many years and we appreciate the time, energy, and financial support they give to this program and especially the children they are helping feed.  Thank you, Sterling Heights Lioness’s.

The remainder of the bags are packed on Wednesday at noon.  Students who attend the Career Prep Center take time from their lunch hour to come and pack the remainder of the bags.  They also set out the quantity of food for the following weeks packing so that it is ready for the Tuesday morning packers.  Thank you for caring about your fellow WCS students.
